Our environment
A basic guide to understand the logic of everything around us.
When we talk about environment, we refer everything around us, rather it, into a determined space, interacts someway in particular and connected inside a logical sequence. That is why inside the environment, every element, whether alive or inert, has a reason to be and has a function to do.
Nothing
is set by gamble and its unity is so delicate that if we erased it, we could
break up the balance the Nature has set up, and eventually we could devastate
the surrounding place. In this logic, the environment is important because it
allows the support of our life plus the other alive beings’ and plants’.
If we
dismissed some element of our environment, the process of life generation would
occur with difficulty or it wouldn’t be possible.
Usual issues
The
environment faces problems constantly, but which way can we identify them
around us? Let’s start from three key elements – water, soil, air. If we can
divide each one of them and study slowly, we could differentiate the balanced
from the unbalanced, and in this second point, try to detect why the things are
going on wrong, and from that point, to propose solutions.
The
key of this diagnose kind is getting to the deepest cause, and like which also
holds the solution to the problem, then reversing the situation is going to be
a much more natural and less radical process because we have to understand that
the Nature even has its own reccuperation policies.
However,
the human being has resulted to be the main cause of the environmental
unbalances. Although some TV shows suggest that the erradication of our species
is the solution to the problem, the truth is our intelligence should address us
to an attitude change. If during centuries,
the human being has predated, now it’s necessary to protect and in the worst
case, using rationally.
How to intervene the issues
The
environmental issues are solved with science and commitment. The second one has
to do with our education and our actual integrity. The first one implies we
follow up a methodology simple to mention but complex to work.
- The first phase consists in researching the most we canabout the environment, having and organizing the knowledge. It’s about to identify reliable sources and having all the information as possible.
- Coming next, it’s necessary to share with our people (everybody as possible, indeed), all the knowledge we have gotten and organized. The point is the people don’t turn into a silent audience of this knowledge but in an inclusive way, they figure out as the actors of itself. The information must be qualified so the next step to be successful.
- And, finally, the next step is acting in a creative, practical, and sustainable way. That is how we give a particular aspect to our solution, allow the locals and the foreigners to be part of it, and guarantee the everything good that our generation gets, to be the most important legacy for the next ones – we generate sustainable development.
Although
the human being, as a species, represents a tiny portion of the Earth’s
biodiversity, has the chance to improve and reverse the ongoing situations like
the climate change. Native civilization of the Americas coincided that the
human species is not the owner of environment but a straight administrator for
the next generations. The route may be found right there.
The associativeness
A
successful and profitable strategy to care and promote the environment is the
associativeness. This one consists in the unity of individuals who share one or
many economic and eco-friendly activities, and who join themselves and abroad
under the fair trade scheme.
There
are two big successful associativeness experiences with organic agriculture in
Piura Region – banana traders and coffee traders. Those ones have not only
focused on growing and exporting coffee but they have diversified to cacao and
sugar, both organic, which they are conquering so much exigent markets as the
European.
This
model is still rookie in our region, at least, but it has allowed the small
agriculture to be competitive as much as the big scale’s, and it eases the
scheme to be replicated everywhere. The people joining those organizations say
the key, including the unity, is the permanent training, the planning, and the
spirit that the benefits cover every individual involved into this model.
