The first month of the worst environmental disaster in Peruvian shores history – the most media-trendy, at least.     VENTANILLA, Peru – On Saturday, January 15 th , 2022, while the Pacific Ocean was in alert due to a tsunami caused by the blast and collapse of a volcano in Tonga Islands , Italy’s Mare Doricum petroleum ship downloaded Brazilian crude to La Pampilla Refinery , operated by spain’s Repsol corporation .   Around 17:10 PET (2310 GMT) , it was notified the downloading hoses broke. Initially, all seemed to be a 26.9-feet stain, or the equivalent to a 1.6-feet-side square, and 0.16 barrels, according to Repsol’s preliminary information. El primer mes del peor desastre ambiental en la historia del litoral peruano, o al menos el más mediático.     VENTANILLA, Callao – el sábado 15 de enero de 2022, mientras el Océano Pacífico estaba en alerta debido a  un tsunami causado por la explosión y colapso de un volcán en las islas Tonga , el buque petrolero italiano Mare Doricum descargaba crudo brasileño  hacia la refinería La Pampilla , operada por la corporación española Repsol .   Hacia las 17:10 hora peruana (2310 GMT), se notificó que las mangueras para la descarga se rompieron. Inicialmente, todo parecía ser una mancha de 2,5 m 2 , o el equivalente a un cuadrado de medio metro de lado, y 0,16 barriles, según información preliminar de Repsol. Good perspectives for a Peruvian rapid molecular test

LIMA, Peru – The development of low-cost rapid molecular tests to diagnose SARS-CoV-2 without RTPCR, held by scientists with Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University and EsSalud, as well as researchers with diverse institutions in Germany, U.S., and Japan, has concluded its validation phase successfully, according to Edward Málaga-Trillo released on his Twitter account.   It’s about a molecular tests that leads results in 40 minutes, and that only requires saliva samples without the need to gather fluids through nasopharingeal swap. Buenas perspectivas para una prueba molecular rápida peruana
