PIURA CITY, Peru - The hunger for money and the need for a home seem to be pushing the invasion of public spaces for parks. The right of someones is literally drowning the right of a community needing oxygen and regulating the climate, also creating or keeping  ecosystems those got to adapt inside urban spaces. And inside that same urban space, there are human beings who need a place to live, and the whole controversy seem to base upon right here. Fotografías proporcionadas por ImaginaParque. 26 DE OCTUBRE, Piura - El hambre de dinero y la necesidad de una vivienda parecen estar impulsando la invasión de espacios públicos destinados a parques. El derecho de algunos está ahogando, literalmente, el de una comunidad que necesita oxígeno y regular su clima , además de crear o conservar ecosistemas que se han podido adaptar dentro de espacios urbanos. Y dentro de ese mismo espacio urbano, hay seres humanos que necesitan un sitio para vivir y aquí parece radicar toda la controversia. Las denuncias por usurpación de terrenos a lo largo del área metropolitana de Piura son cotidianas y todas ellas configuran alegados esquemas delictivos en los que hasta la misma Iglesia Católica local ha estado presuntamente implicada, como lo sugirió la cadena katarí Al-Jazeera en diciembre de 2016 .
