Peruvian students to learn science by using lab simulators


National Council of Science and Technology (Concytec as its acronyme in Spanish), in alliance with the Colombian company specialized in educational technology CloudLabs, started to train specialists from regional boards of Education, educational management local units to continue establishing science & technology clubs across Peru.

 

 

Concytec tries to promote scientific culture through virtual environments with the highest technology and international standards. So, it pretends to join who participate in the educational process nationwide by using rule frames that pull the creation and sustainability of science & technology clubs.

 

 

This process will ease the participants to access to the highest technology in lab simulators for the areas of Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Mathmatics, Technology, and engineering.

 

 


During August 2020, Concytec has trained 174 science & technology specialists nationwide, who will monitor and evaluate the execution of the CloudLabs Project into 130 science & technology clubs during September, October, and November. The project will benefit directly more than 320 science & technology teachers across the nation and 1358 basic education students.

 

 

CloudLabs has trained more than 200,000 junior students, is working in 22 contries including the United States, Australia, China, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.

 

 

The bets are positive, the science & technology club’s members will find on the lab simulators a powerful tool for learning continuously and achieving the skills demanded by today’s world, highly technological and scientific. Concytec states this Project proves its wish to bring its scientific community with a high-quality and pedagogically innovative ecosystem which allows the students to learn with a more advanced technology.
