A communitarian rural tourism project in the entrance of Huancabamba Valley.  By Ronald Benites Rangel .  Photos by Emmanuel Fernández Cardoza and Éricka Ramírez Guerrero .  SONDORILLO, Peru - On the length between the place known as Cruz Blanca, the point where the road from Piura to Huancabamba reaches its top altitude, and the so-called Walking City , the mountain landscape is made for falling in love. What or who? It does not matter - just fall in love. With that landscape charming the eye, it will be difficult we realize Cascapampa is about 40 km or 25 miles before arriving into Huancabamba City and 25 km or 16 miles after climbing up from Canchaque . This is a community dedicated to agriculture and cattle, about 170 km or 106 miles away the east of Piura City by car. Cascapampa (probably from Quechuan 'sharp plain')  is on the E ast slope of Andean Western Range, 3180 meters or 10430 feet altitude, forming part of the Huancabamba River's ...

The so-called king of the desert doesn't expand all its majesty yet.  It is considered as the emblematic tree of Piura  Department's Coast -it normally doesn't grow over than 1650 feet altitude- and it is supposed the Spaniards found it here dominating the landscape when they arrived here in 1532.  The conquerors fastly related it to the European carob tree ( Ceratonia siliqua ), then assigned that name to the species that locals called tahko , according to a Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)'s research , although some archeologists asked by FACTORTIERRA doubt about that theory. the carob word, actually, has Arabic roots - alarrooba , coming from Persian alarroob what means donkey's jaw, curiously the animal that consumes it a lot and never stops to chew it here in Piura.  However, the word describes the European species, apparently not related genetically to South American one, the Prosopis pallida actually. LIMA, Peru – The Peruvian Government assured that for the first time it counts on a measuring of the children development indicators which will allow to have annual information for deciding how to intervene in public agencies directed to work for the first childhood. The evaluation of the early Children Development Mode was applied during the 2018 Demographic And Family Health Survey  (ENDES as its acronyme in Spanish) made by the National Institute of Statistic and Informatics (INEI as its acronyme in Spanish). The mentioned study allowed to measure five of seven results or development areas of the guidelines on Early Children Development (DIT As its acronyme in Spanish) and the diverse conditions enabling or limiting the achievement of each result per life period. The indicators compared to the Healthy Birth and Adequate Nutritional Status results are measured regularily in ENDES. It’s accessible around the year, although the best season is between May and October . Its difficulty levels are multiples so it easily fits to your age and current physical condition. His cousin, who accompanied him, supposed it was about people walking through the muleteers route going parallel to Yapatera River's upper course, so he let him to know. When Rivera spoke aloud to identify the ones carrying the lights, he got no answer, so he shooted up the air in disuasive mode. None at the moment because the Inca-origin building is not officially open for the tourism yet, although it does receive visitors who are allowed to enter for free under strict conditions like to keep clean the whole circled area, not to vandalize the building, and not to put on the walls, as it happened before.
