An application avoids the people to crowd

    Piura, Peru –
Framed by the state of emergency due to Covid-19, the  Mi Juntos  application is contributing the Juntos Social Relief Programe’s user families know the date and the place what they can charge their grants, avoiding the crowds this way .

According to the report by the Juntos’ Information Technologies Unit, 25,396 queries were done during September 2020  in 49 districts of eight provinces in Piura Region. Such queries were done through an application installed on a cellphone and/or through a personal computer going to Juntos (Together) website.

The Mi Juntos application is a technologic tool that allows the female users to learn in detail about the 200-sol (60-dollar) grants they receive every two months, even provided they honor the commitment to bring their kids to the school and have a preventory check-in at the health posts. In the case of pregnants, it is requested to attend the pre-natal controls. However, while the state of emergency is vigent in Peru, these exigencies were suspended to accomplish.

Advisory by phone

Nevertheless, the use of mobile by the female users has turned into a key tool for the programme because it allows the local promoters to give advisory by phone, through the Aló Juntos initiative,to mother of kids under 12 months old and/or pregnants for pulling healthy habits and following up the access to education & health services.

The female users also can attend to the PAIS Programme’s stands to access the application  or request the assistance of promoters of all social relief programmes by the Peru’s Ministry of Social Inclusion and Development. Also, before the less claim, doubt, or query, they can call free-tolll at 1880 (only available in Peru)
