  Photographs by Milton García , distributed by FACTORTIERRA.   TAMBOGRANDÉ, Peru – The petroglyphs of Malingas were used as inspiration to make up an allegorical chariot as part of the carnival parade performed in this city on February 11 th , 2023. The chariot presented by Malingas Village Municipality got in brief the touristic potentials of the community – the landscape and the archaeological rests .   In the first case, San Francisco Creek was stylized as that is a Piura River tributary, that serves like the northern border for the community.   In the second one, one of the traces existent in Malingas was framed, that according to the preliminary investigation by the archeologist Daniel Dávila, made between 2009 and 2011, they might be 4000 years old, made by migrants getting from Amazon Basin, having such as relation with the existence of water.   Fotografías por Milton García , distribuidas por FACTORTIERRA.   TAMBOGRANDE, Piura – Los petroglifos de Malingas sirvieron de inspiración para montar un carro alegórico como parte del desfile de carnaval desarrollado en esta ciudad el 11 de febrero de 2023. El carro presentado por la Municipalidad de Centro Poblado Malingas sintetizó los potenciales turísticos de la comunidad, el paisaje y los restos arqueológicos .   En el primer caso se estilizó la quebrada de San Francisco, uno de los afluentes del río Piura , que sirve como límite norte a la comunidad.   En lo segundo, se representó uno de los trazos existentes en Malingas, y que, según investigación preliminar del arqueólogo Daniel Dávila hecha entre 2009 y 2011, podrían tener 4000 años de antigüedad, ser hechos por migrantes de origen amazónico y tener alguna relación con la existencia de agua.
